We have compiled a list of some of the greatest men in history who also happen to be Masons.
Men of all ethnic and religious backgrounds are welcome, 2B1 ASK1 today.
Our Lodge serves the Greater Temecula Valley, including Murrieta, Lake Elsinore, Winchester, Wildomar and surrounding communities in Southern California. Chartered in 1922 on Catalina Island, we were moved in 1989 to Temecula, Ca. If you want information on what Masonry is all about or you are interested in membership to a Masonic Lodge, please feel free to use this website for information or contact us directly.
All Masons, prospective Masons, and Soujourners are invited to participate in our events, and Masons from all Lodges are invited to attend our Stated Meetings and Degrees. Our Stated Meetings are held on the first Monday of every month at 7:00pm at the Temecula Masonic Center, and degree work is generally done at the same location on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm with refreshments and fellowship to follow.
Finally, feel free to review our monthly newsletter; it can be found in the Trestleboard section of this website or click here for the latest News from the Quarries. Thank you for taking a moment to peruse our website and have a great day!
Brethren, Family & Friends,
“Behold how good and how pleasant it is for Brethren to dwell together in unity”. This statement is so true. For those that have had an opportunity to witness a gathering of masons, you would think that each individual in the group have known each other for a long time, if not decades. Honestly speaking, more than likely, this may have been the first opportunity that some may have made each other’s acquaintances. Masonry unites men who might otherwise have remained at a perpetual distance. In any given lodge, you will find men from different walks of life, and on our basic principles, welcome each other.
January is coming to a close and Temecula Catalina Island Lodge is just beginning this exciting year. In February, in addition to the conferral of degrees, we will be hosting a Sweetheart/Forget-Me-Not Dinner. This promises to be a very special event. March will see the Grand Master of California and Grand Lodge Officers travel to our lodge, have breakfast with the Brethren, and close out the day with the laying down of a cornerstone at one of our local schools. In July, we will have our famous Outdoor 3rd degree. Details to follow.
Sincerely and Fraternally,
The month of November came and went in what seemed to be "in the blink of an eye". The Stated Meeting of November annotated the traditional election of officers followed by the opening ceremony for the Installation of Officers conducted November 17. The planning and advisements by various parties and the execution of coordinated tasks culminated in a very emotional and memorable moment for me, as well as, I am sure, to all who participated and/or witnessed this successful event. Congratulations to the 2014 officers of Temecula Catalina Island Lodge # 524! Your hard work and dedication throughout your Masonic journey has well prepared you for the office you now hold and the ability to face the challenges you are about to encounter. I am proud to call each and every one of you "Brother".
Carrying on the tradition our lodge, our reputation being well known throughout California, and building upon the solid foundationour past masters' and brethren have lain down, this Masonic year promises to be exciting. Thank you, Brethren, for your support, and look forward to seeing you in lodge!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to All!!!
